BT Broadband problems !!!

I have been a BT Broadand customer for years and have moved house 5 times over the years and had no problems until my recent move, when i moved i went through the normal stuff that you go through with the moving and changing my broadband service was one of them, having sorted it out with BT,they gave me a date that the broadband will go live, which was in about a week, the activation date came and what a suprise, No broadband. i phoned them up and they said that there was a problem on the line and it will be sorted in a few days, so i said ok. Anyway i left if 5 days and there was still nothing so i phoned them again and they said that they have been trying to identify the fault during the past few days and they now know what the fault was and it will be fixed in 7 days....my blood was boiling and i told them that if the problem was not fixed during these next 7 days i will be leaving them to find another company.... they assured me that it will be done. i had left it 7 days like they said but i didnt have a chance to phone them because i was busy, so it had been another 4 days which made it 11 days in total, i phoned them on the 11th day and they said they had found another fault on the line and i would have to wait a further 5 days for them to sort this fault out, Again my blood boiled!! i told them how discusted i was with them and the service and that they dont care about their customers and i told them that i want to cancel everything with them, they asked me why i wanted to cancel and i loved telling them why...... So i cancelled everything with them and the next day i came home from shopping and there was a guy looking around my house, i parked up and seen that the guy was from BT, Iasked the guy if he was ok (i thaught he was looking for somewere), he said to me that he was here to get my broadband up and running, i told him that i cancelled everything with BT because of all the hassle i had with them, he said OHH, and said that he has been sent here to get it working, so anyway i said do what you have to do. after about 45mins messing around on the telephone poles out side and so on, supprise supprise, the broadband was working. so after the guy left i phoned BT and said that i have been disgusted with the service but if they can keep the broadband working i will stay with them, they assured me that there is no problem now and i will be getting my service. Broadband was working fine for a week, Then problems again, drop outs all the time, problems connecting, no internet at all, slow speeds, I thaught WTF***. Here i go again, on the phone to them, went through all the bull **** restarting hub and bla bla bla, no difference, the guy on the phone said they were going to investigate the problem and they will call me back within 48hrs, they actually did phone back within 48hrs and told me to do a speed test by going to www.speedtest.btwholesale.com  i Did this test and my download speed was 0.03 kbps and my upload speed was 0.22, my upload speed was faster than my download speed, what a laugh!! anyway i repeated the testing a few times as the guy on the phone told me to, there wasnt much difference between them, at one point the speed went down to 0.00. the guy on the phone said he would phone me back in 10 mins he just needed to check something on the line, ok i said, he phoned back after 5mins and said they had been looking at the system and it said that my broadband (internet) had been having huge drop outs, up to 20 dropouts per day and he said this is not normal, i thaught at last they actualy figured out that i have another F**K**G problem, he then said he needed to speak to someone else, 1 min later the guy came on the phone and said they are going to send an engineer to the telephone exchange to sort out some problem, he said they might need to come to my house to investigate any problems, i said ok, and i hope the problem is fixed soon because if it is not i might as well go back to the old dial up modem (its faster) than i have now. they said they are going to get back to me within 3days to let me know what is going on, the problem is still ongoing....... Well i hope that this has given you some idea about what to Expect from BT, which is not a lot, i would say think 2 or 3 times before going with this company, customer support is useless, their attitude to help is crap, and you have to wait months for them to sort things out, (BT Total broadband) is what it sais on adverts, I would say it should be changed to (BT Total Crap).

Weather in Wales

Its actually not raining in wales today, i dont give it long before it does start, i suppose it wont be long untill it starts snowing either, that is one down side to living in wales, the weather, the country side is nice but its just the weather that lets it down, many people that i have spoken to that have been on holiday in wales love the place, they say that we are lucky to live in such a nice country side, but when you live here all the time, it is just normal to us, and we dont really seem to appreciate it as much as people that come on holiday, i recommend a visit to wales but make sure you bring an umberela!!
